Things to Do
Ingenia Holidays Bermagui is set on the waterfront at Wallaga Lake on the New South Wales South Coast. Enjoy waking up to views of the shimmering lake, explore the nearby beaches and dramatic rock formations and discover the charming surrounding towns. Here are our favourite things to do in the region.
Enjoy the serene atmosphere, listen to the lap of the water and watch the abundant birdlife that make a home at Wallaga Lake. The large lake is a great spot for swimming, boating and waterskiing and is known for its fabulous fishing. The lake and Merriman Island, the small island within the lake, are recognised as sites of great significance to the local Aboriginal people, with many artefacts being found in the area.

Explore an enchanting garden wonderland at The Foxglove Spires Gardens at Tilba Tilba. The gardens are spread across the 3.5 acre property and combine English style elegance with a romantic, fairy tale like ambiance. Watch the birds glide across the duck pond, gaze at lush green foliage and colourful flowers, explore the gardened ruins and listen to the relaxing trickle of the water features.
Camel Rock was named many years ago by Bass and Flinders and the landmark continues to hold fascination today due to the striking rock formations and beautiful ocean views. Tuck into a picnic under the shady trees while you take in the view, explore the rock pools or catch a wave at Camel Rock surf beach which is patrolled during the summer months.
